Bert Cox is President of the New Hampshire Real Estate Investors Association and presides over the monthly meetings that typically attract 40 or more, like-minded investors. The Association started in 2003, and the Association’s philosophy of open, sharing, and educational events have made the New Hampshire charter the fastest growing chapter in the region.
Bert is an active investor, and auctioneer and operates in the I-93 corridor from Concord to Nashua as well as Keene and parts of MA. He has been involved in Real Estate since 1985 and currently manages many units. He is an advocate of real estate education and practices creative real estate. His mentors and teachers include AD Kessler, Ron LeGrand, and Robyn Thompson. He attributes his success to a focus on meeting the needs of buyers, sellers and investors; unlike traditional Real Estate practitioners that use the one-size-fits-all approach. His colleagues call him the Renegade Realtor®. He is familiar with buying and selling property in your IRA, short sales, 7-day auctions, rent-to-own, 1031 exchanges, seller financing, zero down payment programs, options, lease options, rehabs, new construction and has considerable expertise on negotiating with, through or around Real Estate Agents.
Bert Cox earned his MBA, Summa Cum Laude, from Southern New Hampshire University. He also holds the degree of BSME (Mechanical Engineering) from Northwestern and SMU. His studies include marketing, W. Edwards Deming's principles of quality control, and strategic planning. He served in the United States Air Force and holds one US patent. As a serial entrepreneur he has started and operated numerous enterprises including a house painting business to put himself through college, a 10 bay automotive shop while still in the Air Force when he lost the tenant, an advertising agency and a consulting practice. His true passion (outside of family) is Real Estate.
He is the author of numerous books and articles including “Sell Your Home For The Best Possible Price In The Shortest Possible Time”; “Business Lessons That I learned from Harry Potter”; “Find The Gold Mine In Your Business”; “101 Free or Low Cost Ways to Grow and Market Your Business”; and, his latest work in progress, “Laugh and Grow Rich”. He hosted the radio show, “Profiles in Success” which aired on WSMN in Nashua, NH and featured notable entrepreneurs including Robert Kiyosaki, Michael Gerber, Craig Benson, and Vic Conant.
